Biography
I am the founder and general manager of Bagla Law Firm, APC. I am a business attorney and real estate broker who practices in San Diego, California.
A multi-degreed lawyer, I began my career with a Fortune-500 global biotechnology company in California, where I managed legal issues for 35 international subsidiaries. I then joined Baker & McKenzie, an international law firm based in San Diego, where I advised domestic and international clients on corporate and securities issues. My legal experience includes:
- Managing domestic and international IPOs
- Interpreting and applying regulations on exporting goods into China and other countries
- Advising on the shutdown of company operations for local and international clients
- Addressing legal issues for manufacturing operations in the Middle East
I later joined Catalyst Law Group in San Diego, California, where I headed the corporate legal department. My practice ranged from general corporate counseling to legal advice on off-shore transactions.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and International Relations at California State University, Hayward. I also earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B. with honors) from the University of Wales, Swansea, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Whittier Law School.
My memberships include the California State Bar Association, North County Bar Association, North San Diego Real Estate Investors Association, Rancho Santa Fe Business and Professional Women’s Association and the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce.
Currently, I and my associates serve as general counsel for my clients and represent real estate investors as well as providing other business law advice and support.
