Biography

Having worked in higher education since she was a freshman in college, Lauren continues to be passionate about fostering an environment that helps learners on to the next stage of their professional lives. As Point Loma Nazarene University’s Military Outreach Senior Counselor, Lauren has had the privilege of helping student veterans, active duty servicemembers, their spouses, and children discover the best path to meeting their goals, and helping them see the real value of their education. She is an avid supporter of formal education, and believes that every day brings new challenges and opportunities to learn and grow in your personal, professional, and academic environments.

Lauren graduated from the University of La Verne with her degree in Psychology in 2012, and earned her Master’s in Leadership from Brandman University in 2018. Her dream is to continue to be an advocate for education and learning, and instill confidence in each man and woman she encounters, allowing them to pursue their personal brand of success.
